You know compost--biodegraded yard debris and clippings turned into useable, organic "vitamins" for the soil. We use it in the flower beds or even in the turf to replace the supply of nutrients for plants. Going organic means to use the natural process of compost instead of chemical fertilizers which wash off as runoff to our local streams. The City of Plano takes our yard debris and makes compost to sell. Now, "Texas Pure" Compost is on sale during the month of August for $16 per cubic yard, regularly $26/cubic yard.
Compost:
- Breaks up clay
- Improves root growth
- Saves water
A cubic yard fits in your pickup truck!
