Calloway's Nursery is teaming up with Creekside North to recognize the Yard of the Month. The nursery will publish tips and coupons in our website and newsletter and provide a sign for the yard to recognize each month's winner.
The winners will receive a $25 Gift Card from Calloway's Nursery.
Once the winner is announced in our website, Calloway's will mail the prize to the winner.
*Prerequisites:
1.* well-trimmed, healthy shrubs and turf
2.* manicured yard with no visible trash, toys, hoses
3.* no crape myrtle or "Crape Murder" by chopping branches off halfway up shrub
4.* no trees or tall shrub limbs touching house
5.* no trees within Plano Property Standards of 14' above street, 7' above sidewalk and one foot set back
6.* no obvious structural disrepair such as fences or mailbox
7.* no off-season decorations
8.* member of HOA (addresses will be provided by membership chairman.)
Bonus Elements:
1. seasonal color with annuals, perennials, or flowering trees/vines/shrubs 2. interesting landscape design
3. use of various shades of green, red, yellow, or white foliage
4. interesting texture of plant material
5. Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certification (NWF.org) or Best of Texas Wildscape Certification
